Penny, Countess Mountbatten of Burma becomes Patron

The organisers of the Romsey Festival have announced that Penelope 'Penny', Countess Mountbatten of Burma (b.1953) has agreed to be Patron of the 2023 event.

The Festival (founded in 1987) is the cultural highlight of Romsey's year and of course having the High Steward and a member of the Knatchbull family from Broadlands involved, will indeed strengthen the bonds between the family and the local community.
