Miss Maddison Brudenell (eldest daughter of Mr Jeremy Brudenell & Mrs Edwina Brudenell (née Hicks), the eldest daughter of The Lady Pamela Hicks, and the former wife of Olaoluwa Olamide Modupe-Ojo) has announced that she is to marry Mr Bret Kapetanov, a welder from Canada.

The Coronation of King Charles III & Queen Camilla took place at Westminster Abbey, London.  VIVAT REX CAROLUS !

Frederick 'Freddy' Knatchbull, eldest son of The Hon. Philip Knatchbull (fourth son of Patricia, 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma & John, 7th Lord Brabourne) - has joined the cast of TV reality show - 'Made In Chelsea'.  Channel 4's show (now in its 25th series), which charts the lives (and loves!) of affluent young trendy socialites around Chelsea, Kensington, Belgravia etc in London

Following a period of Laying-in-State at Westminster Hall, the remains of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II were taken to Westminster Abbey for a Funeral Service, attended by HM The King, HM The Queen Consort, members of the Royal Family, Heads of State, representatives from Governments and Royal Families throughout the world - including The Countess Mountbatten of Burma, The Lady Alexandra Hooper, The Lady Pamela Hicks and Miss India Hicks (Mrs Flint Wood).

Her late Majesty's coffin was driven to St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle for a committal service, and after a brief period in the Royal Vault, she was finally interred during a private ceremony in the King George VI Memorial Chapel, along with her late husband - Prince Philip, 1st Duke of Edinburgh (whose coffin had been temporarily resting in the Royal Vault in the crypt of St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle following his death in April 2021).

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Our beloved Sovereign.

Her Majesty The Queen died (aged 96yrs) at Balmoral Castle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland today in the presence of members of her family including - HRH The Prince of Wales (now HM The King), HRH The Duchess of Cornwall (now HM The Queen Consort) and HRH The Princess Royal.

Lady Butter, born Myra Alice Wernher (youngest daughter of Maj-Gen Sir Harold Wernher, 3rd Bt. and Countess Anastasia 'Zia' Mikhailovna de Torby, the daughter of Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia - a grandson of Tsar Nicholas I of Russia) has died aged 97yrs.  Her mother was granted a Royal Warrant in 1917 to be styled 'The Lady Zia Wernher'.

Lady Butter's aunt was Countess Nadejda 'Nada' Mikhailovna de Torby, who was married to Sir George Mountbatten, 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven, formerly HSH Prince George of Battenberg (MOUNTBATTEN's eldest brother).  Lady Butter's elder sister was Georgina 'Gina', Lady Kennard, whose first husband Lt-Col Harold 'Bunny' Phillips, was a former lover of Edwina.  Lt-Col Phillips' mother was an aunt of Janet, Marchioness of Milford Haven, second wife of David, 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven (son of Countess Nadejda 'Nada' Mikhailovna de Torby - Lady Butter's aunt as above).

The Lady Tatiana Mountbatten (only daughter of George, 4th Marquess of Milford Haven) has married Mr Alexander Dru at Winchester Cathedral

A son is born (location not known) to Mr & Mrs Nicholas Knatchbull.  Nicholas (only son and heir of Norton, 3rd Earl Mountbatten of Burma) does not use his courtesy title of Lord Brabourne.  The new baby is their first child.  Date to be confirmed

The Lady Alexandra Hooper (eldest daughter of Norton, 3rd Earl Mountbatten of Burma), accompanied by her husband - Mr Thomas Hooper, were in the fourth carriage in the Royal Procession with The Earl & Countess of Hopetoun
