At a private service in Romsey Abbey on 13th July 2018, Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh (b.1921) attended the christening of his newest god-son - 'Inigo Norton Sebastian Mountbatten Hooper' (b.2017), first child of The Lady Alexandra Hooper, née Knatchbull (b.1982) and Thomas Hooper (b.1979). Baby Inigo, who was born on 21st December 2017 (exact date and location was not originally made public) is Prince Philip's first cousin three times removed and is in the line of succession to the Throne.
The Duke (aged 97yrs), who flew by helicopter especially for the service from Sandringham House, Norfolk is also god-father to Inigo's grandfather - Norton, 3rd Earl Mountbatten of Burma (b.1947), whose own grandfather was Mountbatten (the 1st Earl) - Prince Philip's uncle.
