India Hicks - Mrs David Flint Wood (b.1967), the youngest daughter of The Lady Pamela Hicks (b.1929), visited Ukraine, joining volunteers from the charity Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to help distribute aid - and was joined by her eldest son Felix (b.1997).  Two months ago, she visited displaced Ukrainians in Poland.

India and Felix travelled from Warsaw, Poland and then onto the border with Ukraine and then went on a fourteen hour train journey, stopping at Fastiv and Chernihiv in Ukraine.

India was supporting GEM (a non-profit charity that provides assistance in the wake of international disasters) in Ukraine, where she transported clothing for families affected by the war, and she spent some time in a therapy shelter helping Ukrainian children.
